Research & Development

The R&D team consists of an experienced group of scientists with significant expertise in resin chemistry and polymer science. Their efforts include the development and testing of new resin formulations and the creation or improvement of resin cure cycles, to maximize the performance in our Prepregs.

Our internal R&D lab capabilities include, but are not limited to:

• Resin formulation development and mixing, from lab-scale to production-scale.
• Reinforcement fibre/fabric selection and testing.
• Prepreg development and scale-up, including pilot-scale hot melt prepreg machine for trials and short runs.
• Composite lamination and curing, including vacuum, ovens, heated press.
• Thermal analysis – DSC, DMA.
• Mechanical testing – tensile, flexural, compression, shear.
